BLS/ALS
Rescuer® Workshops

  • Complete the RECOVER CPR – BLS and ALS Courses before the workshop.

Confirmation & Changes

  • All Rescuer learners must be confirmed 90 days before the workshop, or RECOVER reserves the right to cancel or reduce the attendee count of the workshop.
  • Any reductions or cancellations must be made 90 days before the workshop.

Rescuer Learners

  • RECOVER CPR – BLS and ALS Courses: Complete at least 14 days before the workshop.

RECOVER BLS/ALS Rescuer Workshop - Registration Process

BLS/ALS Instructor® Workshops

  • Pass the 2025 or 2026 RECOVER BLS/ALS Instructor Knowledge Assessment
  • Complete the Pre-Workshop Module before the workshop.
  • Install Open VetSim on a Windows 10/11 laptop (administrator access required) and bring it to the workshop.
  • Be RECOVER BLS/ALS Rescuer Certified for at least 6 months (completed online BLS/ALS modules and an in-person Rescuer Workshop) and have practiced the skills in a clinic or simulation.
  • Maintain current RECOVER CPR – BLS and ALS Courses (recertification required every 2 years).
  • Hold a valid veterinary license as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinarian.

Instructor Trainees

  • Instructor Knowledge Assessment: Pass at least 90 days before the workshop (or by another mutually agreed-upon deadline).
  • Pre-Workshop Module (3 hours): Complete at least 30 days before the workshop.

Rescuer Learners

  • RECOVER CPR – BLS and ALS Courses: Complete at least 14 days before the workshop.
