To have your workshop submitted for RACE units, follow these steps:
- It is important that all instructors follow the RECOVER instructor guidelines and RACE Instructor guidelines in order for your courses to be approved for RACE credit and for RECOVER to maintain accreditation for these courses.
- Please notify us of your scheduled Rescuer Certification session using the Instructor Rescuer Workshop Submission Form at least two weeks prior to your event. If you did not meet this requirement your participants will not receive RACE CE certificates.
- Complete the Rescuer Participation Spreadsheet making sure that names and emails are spelled correctly and are consistent with the email address participants used to enroll for their RECOVER online courses.
- In order for RECOVER to provide RACE CE certificates in a timely fashion, please submit your spreadsheet records within one week of your training and remit payment for your invoice within one week of receipt.
If you are not yet RACE approved
If you were not included in the original submission and would like to obtain RACE approval, please follow these steps:
- Review and electronically sign the Instructor Agreement if you have not done so for this calendar year.
- Fill out the RECOVER Certified Instructor RACE Application if you have not previously done so.
- Wait for notification from RECOVER regarding your approval status.
